I am 50 years old and I live in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. My principal interests are in music (Renaissance and late 19th and early 20th century.) I am an accomplished cook and avoid pre-prepared food as much as possible. I also enjoy sailing and watching movies on my home theater installation.
I have always been fascinated with those who participate in Transgender experience. At one time I self hosted a web site on which I posted my images/montages of rendered Poser Figures inhabiting fantasy worlds created with heavily processed scans of everyday objects. Some of the better ones are hosted here.
I am also hosting a gallery of my PhotoShop altered images of Tara Emory. Tara is very famous in Transgendered society for her self produced photo sets and video's.
The pictures displayed here were taken over a period of several years. The earliest ones were taken with a Leica-M5. At the time of their origin I was running a hi-end film develop and custom print service for advanced amateurs and small start-up business's. Because it was light and convenient I used the Leica for occasional paid shoots around town. The images I have displayed here were scanned from the original negatives.
With the advent of digital photography the demand for expensive film based black/white and custom color print services declined and eventually disappeared. With reluctance, I sold my photo-chemical equipment and switched to digital photo processing primarily PhotoShop and Lightroom, For the occasional panorama or HDR image I use PTGUI and PhotoMatix.
At the present time my personal camera is a Nikon D300 with a 18/80mm and 80/300mm zoom lenses. I also have Cannon D80 which I carry when ever I leave my home
